I collaborated with Hermès on the design and fabrication of temporary retail environments in Chicago, supporting an exploration of new design languages rooted in the brand’s material heritage. A central challenge was reinterpreting cork as a luxury material for display cases, developing fabrication methods that preserved the character of the material while meeting the precision expected of Hermès. The project also explored fabric as a contrasting textural element, creating a retail environment where traditional materials were reimagined through contemporary fabrication.
